Event - National Coding Week

This week was National Coding Week which is an excellent opportunity for the children to explore new and exciting developments at the forefront of today’s world.

his year’s theme was Artificial intelligence (AI) and the children were able to take part in a variety of activities to show exciting recent developments.

In Key Stage 1, children explored how intelligent computers have begun and particularly enjoyed playing a drawing game where the AI guessed what they can draw.

In Key Stage 2 children enjoyed learning about the advantages and disadvantages of AI and how it can be used in their everyday life. It was also a chance for some classes to get creative and see how AI can help them with their artwork by generating images and even 3D worlds.

A really enjoyable and educational week was had by all!
