Year 1 thought about how they felt about God’s creation. Using some artwork they chose some vocabulary and made their own to describe the art. They drew and painted their own Creation pictures and wrote their own prayer thanking God for what he had made and given them.

The theme of Year 3’s Inspire Workshop was Reconciliation. We began the workshop by reading the Gospel to reflect on the parable of The Prodigal Son. The children discussed about the importance of God’s forgiveness and analysed artwork that illustrated this parable. The children enjoyed creating their own artwork about Reconciliation too!

Year 4 celebrated the Inspire Workshop this year with a focus on prayer. We looked at scripture and the different teachings of Jesus on prayer and also considered how and when we should pray. The children mind mapped some ideas for a good prayer and then created their own.

In the Year 6 inspire workshop, they looked at the story of Pentecost and explored various artwork. They then created their own hanging doves and flame head bands to take home to remind us of the Holy Spirit as we prepare for Confirmation.
