Event - Maths Inspire Workshops

We had our Inspire Workshops; this term the theme was Maths.

Reception - During our maths inspire the children had the chance to enjoy a range of activities. Such as finding one more or less than a number, number recognition and subitising cards. Cutting the correct numbers onto the correct amount, finding missing numbers and many more activities. The parents and children enjoyed their time at the workshop.

Year 1 had a fantastic time working with their parents in their Maths Inspire Workshop. They worked out the maths meeting first together, using their finger, cubes or number lines. After they had to solve the different number puzzles to be able to read the message. They also completed a colour by numbers activity using addition and subtraction. It was a great afternoon enjoying Maths!

Year 2 focused on completing a maths meeting and having a go at a code breaker practising the 4 operations.

Year 6 said "Thank you to all the parents who joined us on Friday for our Year 6 inspire workshop. Our theme this term was maths. We completed a maths meeting together and then attempted some tricky codebreaker questions!"
