Event - St. David's Day
2 February 2017
Today we celebrated St. David’s Day as a school. The children came dressed in Yellow to celebrate the Patron Saint of Wales and took part in a variety of fundraising activities.
The school hall was full of lots of exciting activities and games for our pupils. And children of all ages enjoyed ‘splat the rat’ and Ten Pin Bowling.
The children all donated £1 to take part in the day’s events and the money will be going to the Father Hudson Society who offer support to Adults, Children and Families. Their aim is to offer help and support to people in need, improving their quality of life.
With the special time of Lent beginning tomorrow, today proved a wonderful start to this period of giving in our St. Margaret Mary family.
