Event - Year 1 Art Workshop

Year 1 had a fantastic time learning about different fruits and vegetables and the different seasons.

They painted a fruit od vegetable from their season and used it for their face. They then coloured different fruits and vegetables and cut these out to stick on their face as eyes, ears, a nose, a mouth and some hair. They all looked so colourful!

These faces were an idea that they learned from their topic artist, Giuseppe Arcimboldo. He was an Italian painter and made Art by creating faces with fruits and vegetables.
