Event - Year 3 Inspire Workshop

This was an exciting opportunity for parents to get a glimpse at the learning in Year 3.

This half term, our inspire workshops had a Design and Technology theme. We linked this theme with our topic of the Romans and the children got the chance to design, make and evaluate a Roman Shield.

We looked at the symbols of an Eagle and lightning that were found on the original Roman shields and used these as inspiration for our own designs.

The children and parents really enjoyed this engaging activity.
