Event - Year 4's 'Vikings Day' with Professor McGinty

Year 4 had a visit from Professor McGinty to tell them all about the Vikings!

They went back in time over 1,000 years ago to see what life was like for people in Britain when the Vikings invaded. Year 4 were able to look at and hold different artefacts including scales, coins, shoes and jewellery that would have been worn at that time. Some even got a chance to dress up as a Viking!

They learned lots of different, funny and interesting facts about the Viking period that has really brought our topic to life!
